G'day, I'm Josh. I am a strength coach who helps people become genuinely strong, capable and confident through clear, structured barbell training.
My background includes frontline and tactical policing in Australia, followed by several years working in health care regulation. Both careers demanded sound judgement, calm communication and the ability to support people through high pressure situations. These experiences have shaped the way I coach today. I value clarity, professionalism and doing the fundamentals extremely well.
I am passionate about helping people see what strength training can do for them. Whether you are stepping into the gym for the first time or rebuilding consistency after a long break, I take the guesswork out of training and guide you through steady, meaningful progress.
I coach with patience, direct communication and a strong focus on long term development. If you want to build strength that carries over into the rest of your life, I would be keen to work with you.
I will help you with: • Building real strength with structured programming
• Learning correct technique and feeling confident in the gym
• Improving movement, stability and physical capability
• Developing consistent training habits
• Making steady progress without confusion or overwhelm
Fun Facts: I moved to the UK in October 2025 and have three energetic boys who keep life busy in the best way. I am a massive Liverpool fan and follow the Geelong Cats in the AFL, but honestly I will watch just about any sport.
My favourite thing in the world is eating good food, and I am always keen to grab a beer with mates. At university I studied criminology and anthropology, which probably explains why I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and hearing their stories.
