Hello! My name is Stacey and I am a 34 year old mutlidiciplnary teacher, specialising in helping women of all ages find their confidence and strength through movement, fitness and a lot of laughter.
My teaching experience ranges from teaching children, women and men in Brazilian Jiujitsu, swimming and fitness.
I qualified as a yoga year 4.5 years ago, allowing me to teach in a variety of places and causing a wonderful snowball effect into becoming a Pilates instructor with a particular specialisation in rehabilitation work, reformer Pilates instructor, group fitness instructor, swimming teacher, PT and a brown belt Brazilian Jiujitsu instructor with nearly 7 years experience on the mats. I am now in my second year of university, studying sports pyshology, to help me become the best coach I can be!
I will help you with: Throughout my years of teaching, I have loved creating a safe space for my clients to develop an unshakable sense of self, often times rebuilding after injury or accident, or just simply wanting to imporve on their mental and physical fitness. I have worked with wonderful clients, predominently women, including those with degenerative neurological issues like Parkinson's disease, to help them rebuikd a connection with their bodies, which I feel is one of the most empowering feelings anyone can have! Having suffered with an eating disorder, I have an intimate and personal understanding of this challenge, allowing me a unique insight into the issues casued by ED's, allowing me to be able to work with anyone suffering to help them find a way to combat the challanges in a healthy way.
I love to have fun with my work, allowing for a safe haven in which you are encouraged, pushed enough to realise your potential and beyond, but most importantly, enjoy the process! Our bodies and minds are the most important homes we will ever own, so I believe, we must enjoy the time we have in them! Finding a way to move that you love will help you in taking care of yourself in the most beneficial way, and I am here to support that journey!
